I met with my niece the other day to start her senior pictures. I say start because I have a feeling we will be getting out a bunch of times! If anyone knows of a good graffiti wall in Downers Grove or nearby, let me know!! We are scoping out locations for fun, creative backdrops. Anyway, we got a few done on a very sunny day. My niece is currently on crutches, so we focused more on head shots for these. She is beautiful and check out those eyes!

I was taking some senior pictures of my niece yesterday when this huge butterfly flew up right by us. I snapped a few pics and captured this one! Just thought I would share. The gorgeous senior pictures will be coming soon…

I recently visited a good friend out of state and had the opportunity to do a session with her daughters – the oldest just turned 8. These two are the cutest things and so beautiful! We had a great location to shoot at as well…until we were kicked out!! That’s another story in itself. I could take pictures of these two any day!

My name is Amy Goray (surprise!) and this is my blog. I am working towards launching my own photography business in the near future, and want to share that journey with you. I have always loved taking pictures since I was little, which if you knew my Dad, you know where I got it from! My Dad always had a camera in his hand and captured so many wonderful moments over the years. I have also loved capturing those moments with my own family and friends, and look forward to being able to capture a lasting portrait for you.
