I had the opportunity to take some family pictures of my neighbors over the summer, prior to starting this blog. With the unseasonably warm fall weather we have been having lately, it only seemed appropriate to put some pictures up that go with the current temps! They were a great group and I wanted to share here. Thanks for looking!

I recently took pictures of a friend of mine and her two daughters. This was a re-shoot for us as we had an unexpected thunderstorm swoop in on us last time! We had much better weather this time around. We used to be neighbors, so I have watched these girls grow since they were babies. They are a beautiful family and I had a lot of fun capturing some moments together.

This little guy was just too cute!  He was giving me and his Mom all different kinds of adorable looks – he is definitely a natural in front of the camera.  Check out those beautiful blue eyes and curls!  You can’t help but smile looking at him.

I had the privilege of photographing an extended family recently (18 total) who were celebrating a very special 90th birthday for their Grandpa/Dad. There were multiple generations present, and quite a range in ages – Grandpa turning 90 and the youngest at 7 months old. It was so wonderful to see this whole family together celebrating such a great milestone. Happy Birthday and thank you for letting me capture some of the moments from the day!

I had a session over the weekend with a beautiful and fun family – two sisters, their children and husband, and their parents. All alums of Iowa State – I have a feeling the kids will be following as well! Happy Birthday to the triplets and GO Iowa State!
