I had my first session of the New Year this past week with a fun and spunky boy who will be turning 6 years old this month. He wasn’t too interested in taking pictures at the beginning (that’s putting it mildly!) but when I suggested that we “trick” his Mom into thinking that he wasn’t cooperating – he lit up! He loved the idea of our “trick” and laughed and giggled throughout our session. I think we captured some great expressions and I think he even had fun!! What a fun way to kick off the New Year!

2010 was a big year for me – I left my job that I had been at for 10 years to start my own business. It was scary at times, but exciting, and definitely what I wanted to be doing. Amy Goray Photography was created and I am so thankful for those that gave me the opportunity to capture a memory for them. Here are a few collages to show some of the amazing individuals that I was able to work with this past year. I hope to see some of you again in 2011! Happy New Year!!

I had the pleasure of meeting this fun group of boys out last week for some pictures. They were full of smiles, but also freezing!! We had a very cold morning and wind chills were low, but they toughed it out…their boys, right?! I was very excited when their Mom was interested in some urban shots. We found some great locations right in town that set a great backdrop. I hope you all enjoy the pictures of this good looking group!
