I am way behind on blogging my fall sessions, but will try to add a few here and there to catch up!  Here is another one today.  Meet the V Family!  I photographed them a couple of years ago, so it was so fun to work with them again and see how the kids have grown.  Their family has been through some changes in recent years, but the love they all have and share is pretty evident in these pictures, don’t you think?  Thank you V Family for allowing me to capture this time with you.

Meet the B Family, a fun group that I worked with this past fall.  We had a gorgeous fall day and the kids were full of laughter and giggles with each other.  Thanks for a wonderful session B Family!

I’m not sure where to even start with this family.  They have touched me in so many ways and I feel like my writing here won’t do justice to how special I think all 5 of them are.  Meet the V Family.  So much love and hope.  Mom, Dad and their 3 adorable children – Noah, and twins Laine and Emily.  Sadly, they were dealt with a devastating disease, LINCL-Batten Disease, a rare genetic illness that robs you of speech, balance and mobility, and is fatal, usually between the ages of 8 and 12.  Noah and Laine both have the disease.  Shortly after, Mom and Dad started the Noah’s Hope Fund  – www.noahshope.com to support research, and raise funds and awareness of this disease.  They give so much to their family and children, and to the Batten community.  Please take a moment and check out their site and learn more on what you can do to help fight Batten disease.

I wanted to share their story to you, but they are more than their story.  They are FAMILY.  Full of love and laughter and hugs and hope.  I have been fortunate to have gotten to know them and was so thrilled when they asked me to photograph their family.  THANK YOU J & T.  I loved our session and capturing your family together like this.
