What a fun session with this wonderful family!  I loved that they were interested in an urban setting and think it worked perfectly with having all boys!  I really liked the textures and variety of backdrops that we had to work with, and I loved the laughter and jokes that were flowing between the boys!  Thank you R Family for a great session and Happy Holidays!

I had a great session with this wonderful family, who happen to be great friends of mine!  I have taken pictures of them over the years at vacations, Halloween, soccer games and school functions as our kids all hang out together, but this was our first “official” session.   We had a beautiful fall day at one of my favorite locations, and just a really nice session!  So photogenic and fun to be around!  Thanks S Family for a great session!

Meet the C Family!  I photographed them a little earlier in the fall, hence the green and full amount of leaves on the trees!!  Oh, and the shorts – haven’t been able to wear those in awhile around here!!  Ok, back to this family!  They won an auction for a session at the Almost Home Kids fundraiser earlier this year.  Almost Home Kids is a wonderful organization that helps with transitional care for kids with complex medical conditions, with the goal of eventually getting these children to their home and families.  Learn more here – http://almosthomekids.net   I was excited to meet this family, as they helped support a great organization with this auction bid.   They were so fun to photograph – full of smiles and some good ol’ brotherly goofing around, but so polite and well behaved.  I loved the natural smiles and laughter between all of them – I think it’s evident from the pictures what a close group they are.  Thank you C Family for a such a nice day and session!

Meet the wonderful M Family!  I had the pleasure of photographing them recently this fall, and what a fun day it was!  I have known Mom of this crew for a long time – we went to grad school together and worked closely together at Edward Hospital for a number of years.  We both left our social work jobs around the same time to pursue other opportunities (Amy Goray Photography for me… ) but have kept in touch via Facebook (yes, I love Facebook and am not afraid to admit it!).  We haven’t seen each other in person though for a long time, so that is why is was so wonderful for me to have the opportunity to take their family portraits.  It was so nice to see her again, and see the beautiful family that they have created!  The kids were great to photograph – full of smiles, laughter and curiosity.  A perfect combination to capture some special moments.  Thank you M Family for a great afternoon!  Let’s not go so long without seeing each other again!!  🙂
