6 Days Old! {Downers Grove, Hinsdale Newborn Photographer}

I have had the pleasure of photographing this family in the past, and was so excited to be able to take newborn photos of the newest addition to the family – Baby C! We did her portraits when she was just 6 days old. She was absolutely perfect for me – sweet, sleepy, and oh so cuddly! Mom and I both had a little fun getting some headbands and wraps on Etsy, so we tried out a number of things during her session. I always love when I can start out with some wide awake shots at the beginning and then move on to the sleepy ones – it adds to the variety of the session, and really captures all the different looks of a newborn. Thanks for a great session Baby C! Enjoy all the doting that Mom and Dad, and your siblings are going to shower you with!!

Baby Kennedi {Downers Grove, Glen Ellyn Newborn Photographer}

Meet baby Kennedi, 16 days old and absolutely beautiful!! She really is, and not just because I might be slightly biased…this is my niece’s daughter, and her first girl. She has two doting older brothers who, along with everyone else, will probably spoil her rotten!! She is such a peanut (not even 5 pounds) and once she fell asleep, she was out! She may be little, but she has a very powerful grip and kept those fists tight! She is going to be a strong one. I hope you enjoy these pictures M and D as much as I enjoyed taking them! Congrats!

Ok, last session to be blogged from the past year! I was a bit behind, but this family is definitely worth the wait. I LOVED this session. Loved it. This family received a gift certificate from her sister to do our session (always a great gift idea!) as they have been through a lot with some health issues that their son had. This little boy is one fighter, that’s for sure! And a natural in front of the camera!! We had a cooler late fall day for our session and I really liked the outfits that Mom picked out to reflect the season, and especially the adorable hat! We went to one of my favorite fall locations, and I was able to capture the love that this family has! So many smiles, laughter, hugs and giggles – what I always strive to get in a session. I had a smile on my own face after heading home from our session! Thank you D Family for letting me capture a glimpse into your lives!

Meet the beautiful Hannah, a senior from the Class of 2015! We did her session earlier in the fall, when it was still warm and colorful! Miss those days right now!! I love senior sessions!! Such an exciting time for the seniors with all the happenings that go into a senior year, as well as the excitement and the anticipation of what is coming ahead! There is also so much personality with this group – I love hearing about what their interests and activities are and their goals for the future. This beautiful girl was no different. Outside of her natural exterior beauty, I could tell instantly what a lovely person she is on the inside. I loved hearing about her, and in between clothing changes, having some time to talk with her Mom and learn more as well. One thing that was really cool to me was that she LOVES the fall, so she wanted her senior portraits to be taken in the fall, capturing the beautiful tones of autumn in both the backdrops and clothing choices. And the picture with her dog – love love love!! Thank you Anna (and your Mom!) for such a wonderful afternoon. It was a pleasure meeting you both and capturing this exciting time in your life. Enjoy every moment!
