This was such a wonderful session for me!!  I met this family a couple of months earlier when I photographed them for the first time, along with the in-laws on Dad’s side of the family.  This cutie was just learning to walk and kept me on the move!   This time, Mom had her side of the family join us, as they were going to be in town for her first birthday.   They had a big birthday party planned for the next day.  Little K was so on the move, curious, and full of laughs and smiles.   I loved seeing her interaction with her parents, grandma and her aunts – they all just adore her.  How could they not?!  You should have seen her when another family walked by with their dog – she was in heaven playing the dog.  I think getting a puppy is inevitable for this family!!

You may remember this amazing family – I have photographed them before, and earlier this year, I had the pleasure of photographing the newest addition to the family! Just to give you a little back story, here is a part of what I wrote about them from our last family session – “Meet the V Family. So much love and hope. Mom, Dad and their 3 adorable children – Noah, and twins Laine and Emily. Sadly, they were dealt with a devastating disease, LINCL-Batten Disease, a rare genetic illness that robs you of speech, balance and mobility, and is fatal, usually between the ages of 8 and 12. Noah and Laine both have the disease. Shortly after, Mom and Dad started the Noah’s Hope Fund – www.noahshope.com to support research, and raise funds and awareness of this disease. They give so much to their family and children, and to the Batten community. Please take a moment and check out their site and learn more on what you can do to help fight Batten disease.”

And now they have 4 beautiful children! I continue to be inspired by them – all of them! There is so much love in this family, between Mom and Dad, to the kids, between the siblings, etc. To see the littlest one’s face light up when she touches her big brother’s face, to the hand holding and hugs – you can’t but help feel it in their presence.
