Meet the L Family, a beautiful family that I worked with this fall. We had a lovely morning at one of my favorite locations for family sessions – gorgeous setting, great fall colors, and a lot of variety of backdrops. Of course when you add a beautiful and photogenic family, it’s a great combination! Loved how relaxed the girls were in front of the camera, and with each other. The H Family {Downers Grove, Hinsdale Family Photographer}

I love photographing this cutie and his family! This has been my 3rd time and you may remember him from his newborn session. It is one of my favorite pictures I have ever taken – the shot with him in a basket, along with his three furry brothers. I never thought I would be able to get 3 large dogs posing so perfectly without using some photoshop magic. Well, they proved me wrong again as they posed just as well for our family session!! We had a lovely fall day for our session, and the beautiful dogs joined us. I loved the outfits that Mom brought for this handsome little guy too – so darn cute. Thanks H Family for another wonderful session!!

I have had a wonderful fall season, with lots of awesome families that I have had the pleasure of working with. I have been a little behind on keeping up with my blogging of these sessions though, so thought I better start catching up!! Here is one of those families. It was easy to see how close these 3 are, along with their beloved dogs. We had a lovely day at one of my favorite locations (a dog park, so perfect for bringing the furry family members!) and it was easy for me to capture the genuine smiles and closeness that they all share. Thank you for a great session and it was truly a pleasure to meet you all!

I have had the pleasure of photographing this family for a few years now. I remember our first session, when the little one was not yet walking! It’s so fun and exciting to see my clients through the years and see the kids grow. We had another great fall session at a local park. We were fighting the wind quite a bit for our session, but found some nooks that shielded it a bit. Blankets always help to keep the kiddos happy and warm as well! I love all the smiles and hugs that this family shared, and when they youngest needed a hug, Dad’s arms were perfect (love capturing those shots!!). Thank you H Family for a lovely day and session!

Caleb {Downers Grove, Bolingbrook Newborn Photographer}

Remember that gorgeous mom to be that I recently blogged about? Well, she had her baby boy and he is beautiful. Meet Caleb, and his doting parents! He was 10 days old on our session, and he was just perfect for me! So content, sleepy, cuddly and just darn cute. I loved that we got a number of shots with Mom and Dad at the beginning, as well as plenty of just Caleb. One of my favorites is the Superman shot – both Dad and Caleb wearing their superhero clothes. Those strong arms are going to keep Caleb loved and protected! We were also able to get a variety of backgrounds – changing blankets, baskets, and colors, all the while Caleb slept peacefully! That doesn’t always work that way, but when it does, I will take it! I do like that he peeked his eyes open for us here and there as well.

It was a pleasure being able to capture this special time – both with our maternity session and Caleb’s newborn session. I look forward to working with you all again and seeing this little guy grow. Congratulations!!
