What a great day with this close family!  We had a beautiful fall afternoon at one of my favorite spots.   It’s always nice to see the older kids actually getting along and comfortable with their siblings, and these two clearly like each other!  Love it.  Thanks B Family for a great day and session!

It was so nice to see this adorable family again this year!  Last year we did our session over the summer, but this time we caught some great fall colors and a nice, but cool day.  I loved seeing the kids together – laughing and being silly.  Such an easy group to be around!  Thanks for a great session!

It is always a pleasure and an honor to be able to photograph this very special family.  The love, strength and courage this crew has is amazing.  This was a fantastic session – I loved every moment of it with all of them.  We definitely missed having Noah there with us, but his presence was felt all around us, especially when his favorite dump track rolled itself right over to us when we were taking the first family picture.  I am not exaggerating!!  It was quite the moment.

So, yes, this session was done in October, and I am a bit behind on blogging…but today seemed like the perfect day to blog it because it is the twin’s 12th Birthday!!  Happy Birthday to Emily & Laine!  Two very special, beautiful, strong and courageous young ladies.  Enjoy your day girls!  Thanks V Family for continuing to allow me to capture these special moments with you all.

Another great family session this past fall was with this crew.  We had a really nice day and the session went great – easy going, laughter – my kind of session.  But what was really nice about this family, was they choose to do family portraits to celebrate Mom and Dad’s 20th anniversary!  They hadn’t done family portraits in a long time, so if there ever was a time to do it, this was it.  I love that.  When I look at their session pictures, I see love of course, but I see what their love has created over 20 years – this beautiful family.   Congratulations to you both on your anniversary and thank you for choosing me to capture this special time in your lives!

It is always so nice to see this lovely family!  I started photographing them with K’s newborn session, and have had the pleasure of working with them a number of times since.  I have to say of all our sessions, this was by far the most smiley, relaxed, silly, and just down right perfect session we had!!  When you get a big hug from the little one to start, you know it’s going to be good!!  Don’t get me wrong, all of our sessions have been great (especially her one year session where I was able to witness her first steps!!) but this was just a really lovely day with a really lovely family.  Thank you P Family for a great session and allowing me to capture these special moments in your lives!
